Well today we had a really fun day.... we went caving in the Huhunui cave. Our guides were called Tim and Steve. We saw lots of cave wetas and glow worms the glow worms were disgusting in the way they moved and they were tiny. The water got up to my chest at one time.

This place is awesome it has mini golf, pool,a pool table, ping pong and a play ground... There is a big high rope thing that we are not allowed on yet but we might tomorrow !!!
Well thats all i have time for folks see ya next time.

Hi,Yesterday we had a busy day we went caving in the Huhunui caves. We all got wet and it was awesome! There was eels and fresh water crayfish that we didn't get to see(thank gooness!) Today we went in the Auranui walk,we saw the collapsed tunnel and went through a dry cave and I watched out for wetas! We also went on the glow worm cave tour and saw lots and lots of glow worms! We are doing so many cool things on camp and I can't wait till next year as well! We had an awesome time and I can't wait for tommorow!
See ya. Lv Elysse

Waitomo was awesome because we got to do go through heaps of caves like huhunui cave and it was full of water and i was the only one that jumped in to the water up to my neck and people said it was cold as an iceberg but when i went in it was warm.
There was another cave that was dry and we got to go into a boat that would float under heaps and heap of glow worm.
Glowworms are not really worms they are magots or they are flys and they do eat flys too but I dont think that they would eat their own kind.

Day Two!

Big day today,
The big event well well, that was Huhunui caving... But the smaller walks were great too!
Visits the Potaka Pa which was quite a jaunt. Up hill and uphill some more.
Drove across from Waitomo to Mission Bay Christian Youth camp!
What an awesome place this is, especially when compared to the rather budget accomodation of the previous night!
Trying to get kids to blog but they are all having too much fun outside!!
On the bus on the way over tried to record the kids and their journey thus far!! You never know it might get up to Toko Talk!!!
